Biography

Nyperking Jn Baptiste was born in Port-au-Prince on September 22nd 1973. He grew up in Carrefour, in a neighborhood of artists and sculptors. He stayed in school until tenth grade and then started to paint at 18 years old.
Ernst Louizor, the famous impressionist artist, was a very close neighbor and Nyperking often watched him work. From watching Louizor, he learned the technique of painting with a knife.
He is known for painting charming scenes of everyday life in his country. Nyperking has worked hard to become one of the best students of the school of Louizor, almost attaining the perfection of his master.
